The Model Search is open to women between the ages of 18-34.
However, because some locations are in nightclubs or casinos the minimum age requirement might be 21 years of age.

The Hawaiian Tropic Zone is a licensee and not part of The Miss Hawaiian Tropic International Model Search.
If they hold contests they are not part of MHTI and their winners will not compete in the US finals.
